Job Fields
Overview
This guide explains how to configure Job Fields in SmartRecruiters using CodeBot. It provides step-by-step instructions to help administrators create and manage job fields, enabling accurate job data configuration and improved recruitment management.
- Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.

- From the Home screen, navigate to Module Access Panel → Talent & Learning → SmartRecruiters.

- Select your workspace from the next screen.

- Navigate to a generated workbook in this case iteration #4. Click the sheet icon.

- The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Select the Job Fields worksheet."

- Job fields Columns:
- Column B – Processing Status: Set to Pending for the new record.
- Column C – Processing Job Field: Enter the job field name.
- Column E – Job Field: Enter the job field name.
- Column F – Type: Select the job field type.
- Column G – Category: Select the field category.
- Column H – Visibility: Select Internal or Public.
- Column I – Required field: Set to TRUE or FALSE.
- Columns J–L – Job, Job Ad, Job Approval: Set to TRUE or FALSE as applicable.
- Column M – Active: Set to TRUE to activate the field.
- Column N – Dependencies: Enter any applicable field dependencies.

- Columns P–R – Field Values: Enter the job field, value type, and field values.
- Columns T–W – Field Dependencies: Enter parent/child field values and their state.
- Columns Y–Z – Order: Enter the job field and its display order.

- Close the workbook and return to SFCodeBot, then click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, and select Start Configuration.

- On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Job Fields checkbox and finally, click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.

- As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.
- Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that Job Fields has been added successfully as the rows and their corresponding fields are now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing statuses have also turned to processed.

- You can also verify these changes by logging in to your SmartRecruiters instance and reviewing the updated configuration.
