Overview

This guide explains how to configure Interview Types in SmartRecruiters using CodeBot. It provides step-by-step instructions to help administrators create and manage interview types, enabling standardized interview processes and consistent interview scheduling across the recruitment lifecycle.

1. Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.

2. From the Home screen, navigate to Module Access Panel → Talent & Learning → SmartRecruiters.

3. Select your workspace from the next screen.

4. Navigate to the generated workbook by clicking the Sheet icon.

5. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. navigate to the Interview Types worksheet.

6. Interview Types Columns

Column B – Processing Status:
Set this to Pending for new interview types to be processed.
Column C – Interview Types:
Enter the name of the interview type. Use a separate row for each interview type.

Note: Leave the Item ID column unchanged. It is managed by CodeBot.

7. Close the workbook and return to SFCodeBot, then click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, and select Start Configuration from the drop-down menu.

8. On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Interview Types checkbox and finally, click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.

9. As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.

10. Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that Interview Types has been added successfully as the rows and their corresponding fields are now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status have also turned to processed.

11. You can also verify these changes by logging in to your SmartRecruiters instance and confirming that the newly added interview type appears in the Interview Types list with the correct name.
