Overview

This guide explains how to configure Email Domain Authentication in SmartRecruiters using CodeBot. It provides step-by-step instructions to help administrators authenticate their email domains, enabling secure and reliable email communication for recruitment workflows.

1. Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.

2. From the Home screen, navigate to Module Access Panel → Talent & Learning → SmartRecruiters.

3. Select your workspace from the next screen.

4. Navigate to the generated workbook by clicking the Sheet icon.

5. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. navigate to the Email Domain Authentication worksheet.

6. Email Domain Authentication Columns

Column B – Processing Status: Set this to Pending for the new record that we have added.
Column C – Domain You Send From: Enter the domain used as the sender address for outgoing emails.
Column D – Subdomain to Receive Email From: Enter the subdomain designated to receive incoming email.
Column E – Activate: Set to TRUE to activate the domain, or FALSE to keep it inactive.

7. Close the workbook and return to SFCodeBot, then click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, and select Start Configuration.

8. On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Email Domain Authentication checkbox. Finally, click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.

9. As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.

10. Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that Email Domain Authentication has been updated successfully as the rows and their corresponding fields are now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status have also turned to processed.

11. You can also verify these changes by logging in to your SmartRecruiters instance and confirming that the newly added email domain appears in the Email Domain Authentication list with the appropriate status.
