Time Type

This Article will help you configure Time Type using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.



  1. Login to your CodeBot account. On the Dashboard click on Employee Central & then locate & click on the Time Track Module.




  1. Enter into your workspace.




  1. Open the workbook to the Time type tab.


  • Column B – Status: Set the status to Pending.
  • Column C – Time Type: Select the newly created Time Type from the drop-down list.
  • Column E – Time Type Code: Enter the new time type code.
  • Column F – Name: Enter the name of the time type.
  • Column G – Workflow Configuration: Specify the required workflow configuration.
  • Column H – Country: Select or enter the applicable country.
  • Column I – Unit: Enter the appropriate unit.
  • Column J – Classification: Select the required classification.
  • Column K – Status: Set the status to Active or Inactive, as required.
  • Column L – Entity UUID: This value is generated automatically by the system.




  • Enter the data as shown in the images below.






  1. Close the workbook, back in CodeBot click the hamburger menu and click on start configuration.




  1. Now, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, provide the Execution Notes, under the Advanced Options, select the Time Type checkbox, and then click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.


  1. As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.

  1. As the status changes to complete, open the workbook and notice that the data you added is now highlighted in green, which means that the changes are successfully pushed to the instance. The Entity UUID has also been generated by the system.



  1. Open your SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Manage Data. Select Time Type from the dropdowm. Next, select the Time Type Code from the drop down that we just created. Notice that the new Time Type has been successfully created and updated in the instance.



Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
