Clock In Clock Out Groups

This Article will help you configure Clock In Clock Out Groups using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.


  1. Login to your CodeBot account. On the Dashboard click on Employee Central & then locate & click on the Time Track Module.



  1. Enter into your workspace.





  1. Open the workbook to the Clock In Clock Out Groups tab.


  • Column B – Processing Status: Set the status to Pending.
  • Column C: Enter the Code.
  • Column D: Enter the Title.
  • Column E: Add the Time Event Type.
  • Column F: Set the Location Capture to either Enabled or Disabled according to the requirement.
  • Column G: Add the Location Language.
  • Columns H & I – Last Modified By & Last Modified On: These columns are read only. The data in these columns will be autogenerated once the execution is successfully completed.



  1. Close the workbook, back in CodeBot click the hamburger menu and click on start configuration.




  1. Now, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, provide the Execution Notes, under the Advanced Options, select the Clock In Clock Out Groups checkbox, and then click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.




  1. As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.

  1. As the status changes to complete, open the workbook and notice that the data you added is now highlighted in green, which means that the changes are successfully pushed to the instance.



  1. Open your SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Configure Clock In Clock Out Groups. Next Click on the Clock In Clock Out Groups screen and notice that the data has been successfully updated in the instance.





Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
