Steps to Retrieve IAS URL When IAS Acts as a Proxy

When Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled and SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) is used as a proxy, certain configuration steps must be completed to ensure seamless user authentication and smooth integration with CodeBot. This guide walks you through the necessary setup process in the IAS Admin Dashboard.



Step-by-Step Configuration

1. Access the IAS Admin Dashboard

  1. Log in to your IAS Admin Dashboard using your administrator credentials.
  2. Once logged in, navigate to the Applications & Resources section in the left-hand menu.



2. Configure Conditional Authentication

  1. Under Applications & Resources, select Conditional Authentication.
  2. In the Conditional Authentication settings, look for the option labeled Allow Identity Authentication Users Log On.
  3. Check the box for Allow users stored in Identity Authentication Service to log on.
  4. Click Save to apply and store your changes.



3. Obtain the IAS URL

  1. After saving, copy the generated IAS URL from the configuration screen.
  2. This URL will act as your IAS endpoint for authentication.
