Manage Home Page - Supplemental Tasks

Overview


This article explains how to add or update Supplemental Tasks on the Manage Home Page in SAP SuccessFactors using CodeBot.



  1. Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.



  1. From the Dashboard, navigate to Module Access Panel → Platform → Manage Homepage.





  1. Enter into your workspace.



  1. Open the Manage Homepage workbook and navigate to the Supplemental Tasks tab.



  • Column B – Processing Status: Set to Pending for the new record.
  • Column C – Supplemental Tasks: Enter the required supplemental task.
  • Column D – Category: Select the required category.
  • Column E – Enabled: Set to TRUE or FALSE.
  • Column F – Due Date: Enter the task due date.
  • Column G – Target Groups: Specify the target group(s).
  • Column H – Active Period: Enter the active period for the task.
  • Column I – Pending Tasks Before They Are Due: Specify the number of days.
  • Column J – Tasks: Enter the required task details.



  • Close the workbook.


  1. Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.




  1. On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Supplemental Tasks checkbox and finally, click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.



  1. Click the (i) icon to view the execution details, including the current status, execution logs, request tracking ID, timestamps, and the total time taken to complete the execution.

  1. Reopen the workbook. The successfully updated information will be highlighted in green, and the Processing Status will change from Pending to Processed.




  1. You can also verify the changes by navigating to Admin Center → Manage Home Page → Supplemental Tasks in your SAP SuccessFactors instance and reviewing the updated Supplemental Tasks configuration.
