Manage Home Page - Quick Links

This article explains how to add or update Quick Links on the Manage Home Page in SAP SuccessFactors using SFCodeBot.



  1. Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.


  1. From the Home screen, navigate to Module Access Panel → Platform → Manage Homepage.




  1. Enter into your workspace.



  1. Open the Manage Homepage workbook and navigate to the Quick Links tab.




  1. Quick Links Columns


Column B – Processing Status: Set to Pending for the new record that we have added.
Column C – Processing Quick Link Name: Enter the Quick Link name.
Column E – Quick Link Name: Enter the Quick Link name.
Column F – Type: Select the Quick Link type.
Column G – Description: Enter the Quick Link description.
Column H – Enabled: Set to TRUE or FALSE.
Column I – Hideable: Set to TRUE or FALSE.
Column J – Target: Enter the Quick Link target.




Note: Complete the remaining fields as required for the Quick Link configuration.


  • Close the workbook.


  1. Back in CodeBot click the Hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



  1. On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Quick Links checkbox and finally, click Confirm and Start to begin the execution



  1. Click the (i) icon to view the execution details, including the current status, execution logs, request tracking ID, timestamps, and the total time taken to complete the execution.

  1. Once the execution is complete. Review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



  1. Reopen the Manage Homepage workbook and notice that the successfully updated information has been highlighted in green. The Processing Status has been changed from Pending to Processed.




  1. To verify the changes, navigate to Admin Center → Manage Home Page → Quick links in your SAP SuccessFactors instance. Notice that the changes have been successfully updated in the instance using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.
