Generating a Workbook in Codebot for SAP SuccessFactors

This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of generating a workbook in Codebot.

1. Log in to Codebot. On the dashboard select any module that you want to explore.

2. Then, enter into your workspace. Or, if no workspace exists yet, create an iteration from here.

•  Click on ‘Add New Iteration’

• Select the company instance from the drop down. Ensure all necessary fields are correct including SFSF Username. Add a Description. Finally, click on ‘Submit Form’.

• The iteration has been successfully created.

3. Once the iteration is created, click on the hamburger menu, and then click on Generate workbook.

4. Login using Single Sign-On (SSO) if it is enabled. If SSO is not available, enter your SuccessFactors password instead. Under Advance Options, you can either select “Select All” to generate the complete workbook or manually choose only the tabs you want to include. Add your Execution Notes, then click Confirm and Start to initiate the workbook generation process.

5. Notice the status change to Processing.

• Click the “i” icon to track the progress of the execution.

• Refresh the logs to view the updated information in the tracking request ID logs.
• Once you have three successful lines in the detail logs, you have validated that the bot has been credentialed correctly.
• You can now leave the screen if you like, and wait for the action to complete.

6. Once the process completes, review the logs to ensure there were no errors.

7. Open the workbook and review every tab to make sure that the data has populated successfully.
