EC - MDF Objects Associations

The following article will help explain on how you can add Associations in an MDF Object through CodeBot.

To begin, open the EC workbook and Navigate to the MDF Objects Associations worksheet.

Populate the columns as follows:

Column E: enter the Object ID

Column G: input the Field ID

Column H: set the Multiplicity according to the requirements.

Column I: Provide the Destination Object

Column J: enter the Data Type



From column M to column T populate the data as shown in the image below.



Column C: select the Processing Object ID from the dropdown.

Column B: set the Processing Status to pending.

Close the workbook



Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and select start configuration.



If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the MDF Objects Associations checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



The status is changed to ‘Processing’. Click on the “i” icon to track the progress of the execution.





Once the status shows ‘Complete’, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



Reopen the EC workbook and notice that the successfully updated information is highlighted in green.





The Processing status column will display as processed.



Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to ‘Configure Object Definitions’.

Select Object Definition from the dropdown, next search for the Object ID.



Scroll down to the Associations section, click on ‘Details’ and notice that the data has been successfully updated in the SuccessFactors Instance using Codebot.
