EC - Geozone
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of automating Geozone configuration in SAP SuccessFactors using CodeBot.
Prerequisites
- A valid CodeBot account.
- Access to the EC (Employee Central) module in CodeBot.
- SAP SuccessFactors credentials (password or SSO access).
Step 1: Access the EC Module in CodeBot
- Log in to your CodeBot account.
- From the left-hand side menu or the dashboard, navigate to the EC Module.
- You will be directed to the Workspace window.
- Click on the relevant Workspace, then open the associated Workbook.
- Navigate to the Geozone tab within the workbook.
Step 2: Add and Prepare Geozone Data
- Input the required Geozone data into the appropriate columns.
- For legacy objects, ensure you set the Status field to "Pending" for at least 10 objects.
💡 Tip: Double-check your data for accuracy to prevent configuration errors during execution.
Step 3: Initiate Configuration
- Close the workbook after saving your changes.
- In CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu (☰) and select "Start Configuration".
Step 4: Configure Execution Settings
- Enter your SAP SuccessFactors password.
- If Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled, check the "Login with SSO" checkbox instead.
- Fill in any Execution Notes (helpful for tracking).
- Check the "Geozone" checkbox.
- Click Confirm and Start to begin the process.
Step 5: Monitor the Execution
- Click on the “i” icon under the actions menu to monitor progress.
- As the bot configures the Geozone data, you’ll see screenshots and logs populate in real-time.
- Once complete, you’ll be notified within the interface.
Step 6: Verify the Results
- Reopen the workbook.
- You will notice:
- Changes are highlighted in green.
- The Status of each object has changed to "Processed".
- Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance to validate the applied configurations.
