EC - Email Notifications

This guide will help you to update Email Notifications in Employe Central module using Codebot.



  1. Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to the E-mail Notification Templates. Here, notice the Email Subject for the Time off Time Account Payout: Create Notification that we are going to change using codebot.



  1. Open your EC workbook and navigate to Email Notifications tab.


  • Here, navigate to column H and change the Email Subject.



  • Set the processing status to pending in column B.


  • Close the workbook.


  1. Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



  1. If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Email Notifications checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



  1. The execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.


  1. Once Complete, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.


  1. Reopen the EC workbook. Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green and the Processing Status column will display as Processed.


  1. Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance again and refresh the page. You’ll notice that the email subject for the email template Time off Time Account Payout: Create Notification has been successfully changed and updated in the instance using codebot.
