COMP - How to Plan Details for a Compensation Template?
The following article will help explain how you can configure compensation plan details through SFCodeBot.
Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.
On the Home screen, click on the Compensation module.
Select your workspace from the next screen.
Navigate to a generated workbook in my case iteration # 265. Click the sheet icon.
The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Select the Templates PM worksheet.
The first block (Columns A – Q) manages budget calculation. The second block (Column R – V) manages the budget rule. The third block (Columns W – AB) manages budget grouping. The fourth block (Columns AC – AM) manages rating sources. The fifth block (Columns AN – AZ) manages eligibility rules. The sixth block (Column BA – BP) manages guideline rules. The seventh block (Columns BQ – CB) manages guideline formulas. Select the plan and the section you wish to execute and set the processing status to pending in the last block (Column CC – CE).

Close the workbook and navigate back to SFCodeBot. Click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number. Select the ‘Start Configuration’ option from the dropdown menu.
The Start Configuration popup will appear. Enter your credentials and some execution notes. Lastly, select the Plan Details checkbox, and hit "Confirm and Start" button.
Later on, you can click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration. Screenshots will be visible once changes are successfully pushed to the instance.
Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that a template has been added successfully as the row and its corresponding fields is now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status has also turned to processed.
You can also confirm these changes by switching to the Compensation Home on SAP Success Factors and search the plan you have created. After that, click on the plan, navigate to the Plan Setup and click on the Plan Details dropdown. Once you have done this, you should be able to view the changes you have just made.
