Time Sheet - Time Valuation

This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process of adding a new Time Valuation in Time Sheet using CodeBot.


  1. Navigate to a generated Time Sheet workbook and click on Time Valuation tab.


  • Column B: Set the Processing Status to Pending
  • Column C: Select Processing / External Code from the drop down
  • Columns E & F: Enter the Time Valuation External Code & External Name
  • Column G: Add the Valuation Type


 

  • Column O: Add the Time Type Group Below.
  • Column U: Enter the Time Records Filter.
  • Column W: The Time Valuation Entity UUID will be auto generated once the execution is complete.
  • Column X: Add a Message Flag.

 


Across the divider,


  • Column AB: Choose the Time Segment Filter / Time Valuation External Code from the drop down.
  • Columns AC & AD: Enter the Start Time & End Time
  • Column AE: Add the Time Segment Filter External Code
  • Column AF: The Time Segment Filter Entity UUID will be auto generated once the execution is complete.


 

Across the divide,


  • Column AH: Select the Time Type Group / Time Valuation External Code from the drop down
  • Column AI: Enter the Time Type Group
  • Column AJ (Reverse Sign): Choose Yes/No from the dropdown according to the requirement
  • Column AK: Add the Time Type Group External Code
  • Column AM: The Time Type Group Entity UUID will be auto generated once the execution is complete.

 

 

  • Close the workbook



  1. Navigate back to CodeBot. Click on hamburger menu from actions menu and hit "Start Configuration".

 


  1. Login using Single Sign-On (SSO) if it is enabled. If SSO is not available, enter your SuccessFactors password.

 

  • Next, provide the execution notes
  • Finally, check the "Time Valuation" box and click Confirm & Start to initiate the process

 



  1. Monitor Progress of the Execution

  1. Reopen the Time Sheet workbook and you’ll see that the Processing Status will display as Processed. The new Time Valuation is created and the successfully updated information is highlighted in green.


 




 

  1. To verify, open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Manage Data:


  • Select Time Valuation from the dropdown
  • Next, search for the Time Valuation External Code or External Name you just created
  • Notice that the new Time Valuation has been successfully created and updated in the instance using CodeBot.
