RBP - How to Add a New Role
In this quick start guide, you will have a look at how to add a new role in Role Based Permissions.
First, in CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, navigate to Role Based Permissions Module.
Enter into your workspace through the workspace window, and open the workbook to the RBP roles tab.
In column B, add the new role name, followed by the description role status for that role. Set the status to pending.
Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and select start configuration. Enter the successfactors password, execution notes and check RBP Roles from the advance options and click on confirm and start as shown below.
Click on the "i" icon to see the progress, you can see that the status has changed to processing. Once the execution completes, screenshots are available of the changes that we made.
Open the O365 Workbook and notice that it highlights the newly added role in green.
Login to SAP SuccessFactors instance, under ‘’Manage Permission Roles’’, you can see the newly added role from the workbook.
