Post Training Exercises

Below are some recommended training exercises to try out, once you have finished the official training. These are small, low risk changes that allow you to practice your CodeBot skills and gain confidence.

Any Module:

Modify a Single Field Value in a Workbook

For example, update a label, description, or setting in one configuration area.

Add or Update a Picklist Value

Insert a new picklist option or adjust an existing one.

Adjust a Business Rule Description

Update the text or naming convention of a rule without changing logic.

Update a Workflow Step

Rename a workflow step.

Change a Template Description

Update the description of a template (e.g., performance, compensation, recruiting).

Run a Compare to Validate Changes

Make a small change, then run a Compare to see how CodeBot detects and displays differences.

Generate a New Workbook After a Change

Practice generating a workbook to confirm the update appears correctly.

Test a Migration of a Small Change

Migrate a simple update (like a renamed role or picklist value) from one instance to another.
