PM/GM - Goal Plan

The following article will help explain on how you can create a goal plan through SFCodeBot.


  1. Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, and enter your login details.



  1. On the Home screen, click on the PM/GM module.



  1. Select your workspace from the next screen.



  1. Navigate to a generated workbook in my case iteration # 125. Click the sheet icon.



  1. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Select the Templates Goal worksheet.



  1. In section one (Columns A – H), choose a goal plan you wish to create along with some basic information. Section two (Column I – M) allows us to order the fields inside our plan while, section three (Column N – U) helps to add these fields in the first place. Section 4 (Column V – AA) helps us manage dropdown options while section five (Column AB – AI) determines column options for a certain field as reflected on the instance. Section six (Column AJ – AL) supports categories for our plan. Fill the data in the following manner and set the processing status to pending in section seven (Column AM – AN).

  1. Close the workbook and navigate back to SFCodeBot. Click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number. Select ‘Start Configuration’ option from the dropdown menu.



  1. The Start Configuration popup will appear. Enter your credentials and some execution notes. Lastly, select the Templates Goal checkbox, and hit Confirm and Start buttons.



  1. Later on, you can click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration. Screenshots will be visible once changes are successfully pushed to the instance.



  1. Once the status shows complete, go back to the workbook, and observe that a template has been added successfully as the row and its corresponding fields is now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status has also turned to Processed.









  1. You can confirm the changes you made by navigating to the Manage Templates page on SAP SuccessFactors and then selecting the Goal Plan tab.
