LMS - Libraries

Adding a new Library ID is now an easier process using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.


  1. Navigate to a generated LMS workbook and click on "Libraries" tab.


  • Column B: Set the Processing Status to Pending
  • Column C: Select Library ID/Processing object from the drop down
  • Column E: Enter the new Library IDs
  • Column F: Provide the Description
  • Column G & H: Add the Discount Rate and Contact Emails.
  • Column I: Select either Yes or No from the dropdown
  • Column J: enter the Security Domains
  • Column K: Set the status to active/inactive according to the requirement.

 


 

  • Fill out all the necessary columns as shown in the images below:



 




  • Close the workbook


 

  1. Navigate back to CodeBot. Click on hamburger menu from actions menu and hit "Start Configuration".

 

 

 

  1. Login using Single Sign-On (SSO) if it is enabled. If SSO is not available, enter your SuccessFactors password.

 

  • Next, provide the execution notes
  • Finally, check the "Libraries" box and click Confirm & Start to initiate the process

 


  1. Monitor Progress of the Execution

  1. Reopen the LMS workbook and you’ll see that the Processing Status will display as Processed. The new Library Ids are created and the successfully updated information is highlighted in green.

 



 





 

  1. To verify, open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Learning Administration

 

  • Search for Libraries


 

  • Scroll down and notice that the new Libraries have been successfully created and updated in the instance using CodeBot.

 


  • Open and confirm that the data has been successfully updated in all the sections.
