JPB - Employment Condition
The Employment Condition worksheet in the Job Profile Builder Workbook is used to define, process, and manage key employment-related attributes associated with a job profile, such as work schedules, employment types, contract details, and job-specific conditions.
This guide outlines the step-by-step process for Employment Condition updates using a pre-generated workbook in the Job Profile Builder module, and automating the changes using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.
- Login to CodeBot. On the Dashboard click on Platform & then locate & click on the Job Profile Builder module.

- Enter into your workspace & open the JPB workbook to the Employment Condition tab.
- Column B: Set the Processing Status to pending.
- Column C: Enter a new Condition.
- Column D: Set the status to either Active or Inactive according to the requirement.
- Column E: GUID is a unique identifier assigned to each employment condition record in SuccessFactors. This is read-only and used for backend referencing. The GUID will be autogenerated once the execution is successfully completed.

- Close the workbook.
- Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.

- If the SSO is implemented, Login using SSO, enter Execution Notes, check the [Employment Condition]() checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.

- As the status changes to processing you can track the progress of the execution. To monitor the progress please refer to the article attached below:
- Reopen the JPB workbook and navigate to the Employment Condition tab.
- The Processing status has changed from pending to processed.
- Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.
- The GUID is generated by the system.

- Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance:
- Navigate to: Admin Center → Manage Job Profile Content.
- Select [Employment Condition]() from the dropdown.
- Review the list to verify that your updates have been applied correctly.

Expected Outcome
- The new Employment Condition is successfully created and activated in the Job Profile Builder.
- Green highlights in the workbook confirm successful processing.
- The updated Employment Condition appear in the SAP SuccessFactors instance.
Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
