Import/Export Data LMS (Import)

This article will help you importing LMS into the system after export.

1. To import, repeat the same process of creating new iteration. Note: provide to host address and credentials of the instance that you want to import data to.
2. Open the newly created Iteration and in column B, select the generic object from dropdown for example: Site Registration Code, in column C select true, in column D select False from the dropdown and select the time zone as "America/New_York" set the processing status to pending in column O.

3. Close the workbook back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and click on "Prepare workbook", this will allow the bot to create a black tab in the workbook. As the form populates, enter the sfsf password, execution notes, check the "Import/Export Data LMS" check box and click on confirm and start.

4. Once the execution is set to complete, notice that an empty tab is created in the workbook. Open the newly created tab, enter the data that you want to import into the system, go back to the config tab and set the status to pending again in column O.

5. Close the workbook, back in CodeBot click on the Hamburger menu and click on Process Workbook. As the form populates, enter the sfsf password, execution notes, check the Import data LMS check box and click on confirm and start.
6. Once the iteration status changes to "Processing" you can check the logs by clicking the "i" icon under actions menu. You will also see the screenshots in the logs.

7. Once the execution is complete, open the workbook and notice that the data you processed is highlighted in green, which means that the data is successfully pushed into the instance.
