How to Grant Access to RBP Screens in SuccessFactors After Logging in via Provisioning

When logging into SuccessFactors via provisioning, you may notice that the Role-Based Permissions (RBP) screens are restricted and set to "read-only." This can prevent users from making necessary updates or configurations to RBP settings. To resolve this issue and allow users to edit RBP settings, follow these simple steps:

Steps to Enable RBP Screens Access:

Login to SuccessFactors Without Provisioning: Begin by logging into your SuccessFactors instance as you normally would, but without using provisioning credentials.
Navigate to Manage Support Access: Navigate to ‘’ Manage Support Access*’’ on the home page.

Edit User Access:

Under the Actions menu next to the relevant user account, click Edit.

Enable the option to allow the user account to edit RBP settings.


4. Save Changes:
After making the changes, click Save to confirm the new settings.

Once these steps are completed, the user will have full access to the RBP screens and can edit settings as required. This ensures the necessary permissions are in place to manage Role-Based Permissions without restrictions after you login into your successfactors instance via provisioning.
