How to Create a Performance Review Template?
The following article will help explain on how you can create or update a performance review template through SFCodeBot.
Navigate to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors, enter your login details.
On the Home screen, click on PM/GM module.
Select your workspace from the next screen.
Navigate to a generated workbook in my case iteration # 125. Click the sheet icon.
The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Select the Templates PM worksheet.
In block one (Column A – M), choose a template name you wish to create along with some basic information. The block two (Column N – U) allows us to add scale adjusted calculations for our template. The block three (Column V – Z) orders our templates. The block four (Column AA – AD) manages introduction section. The block five (Column AE – AI) manages employee section. The block six (Column AJ - AN) manages signature section. The block seven (Column AO – AS) manages signature section. The block eight (Column AJ – AN) manages additional comments section. The block nine (Column AT – BB) manages customized weighted rating section. The block ten (Column BC – BH) manages midyear section. The block eleven (Column BI – BQ) manages performance potential summary section. The block twelve (Column BR – CZ) manages goal section. The block thirteen (Column DA – EE) manages competency section. The block fourteen (Column EF – EL) manages custom section. The block fifteen (Column EM – EY) manages goal competency summary section. The block sixteen (Column EZ – FQ) helps to add custom elements for a section. The block seventeen (Column FR – GB) manages summary section. The block seventeen (Column GC – GF) manages weight fields for the summary section. For the sake of this example, we have filled data in a few blocks, to keep matters simple. However, you can choose to fill data according to your own requirements. Finally, set the processing status to pending in block eighteen (Column GG – GH).

Close the workbook and navigate back to SFCodeBot. Click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number. Select ‘Start Configuration’ option from the dropdown menu.
The Start Configuration popup will appear. Enter your credentials and some execution notes. Lastly, select the Templates Goal checkbox, and hit Confirm and Start button.
Later on, you can click the information icon to monitor the progress of your iteration. Screenshots will be visible once changes are successfully pushed to the instance.
Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that a template has been added successfully as the row and its corresponding fields is now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status has also turned to processed.
You can confirm the changes you made by navigating to the Manage Templates page on SAP Success Factors, and then selecting the Performance Review tab.
