Compensation - Assignment Groups

This guide will help you to create and update Assignment Groups in Compensation module using Codebot.

Log into your CodeBot dashboard. Locate and click on the Compensation module tile.



Then, enter into your workspace.



Open your Compensation workbook and navigate to the Assignment Groups tab.

Populate the required columns as follows:

Column E: Enter a new Group Name.

Column F: Select a DG Pool from the dropdown as per the requirement.

Column G: Add the Field Labels.

Column H: Provide an Expression Value.



Column C: Enter the Processing Group Name.

Column B: Set the Processing Status to Pending.

Close the workbook.



Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Assignment Groups checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



Execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.



Refresh the logs to view updated information.



Once Complete, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



Reopen the Compensation workbook. Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.



The Processing Status column will display as Processed.



Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Compensation Home. Under Actions for all plans, click on Group Assignments, next, click on Manage Compensation Groups and select Manage Statement Assignment Groups from the dropdown. Here, notice that the new Assignment Group has been successfully created.



Confirm that the data has been successfully updated in the instance via CodeBot.



By following these steps, you can seamlessly create and update the Assignment Groups in the compensation module, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency with CodeBot.
