Understanding Proxy Management in CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors
This article explains how to manage proxies in CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.
Getting Started
Create a New Iteration: Begin by setting up a new iteration: This step is essential for generating the workbook and executing the automation
Generate the Workbook: After creating the iteration, generate the workbook by accessing the options through the hamburger menu.
Selecting Options:
o Proxy Report Tab: To generate this tab, select only option 1.
o Proxy Management Report: To produce this report, it is necessary to select both option 1 (Proxy Report) and option 2 (Proxy Management). This requirement is indicated by option 2.
View Data: Once the workbook generation is complete, you can view the data across various tabs.
Automation for Proxy Management
In the Proxy Management Sheet, you will find three options under the dropdown for the proxy status.
Assigned: Use this option to grant proxy rights to a new user. Note that at least one proxy right must be selected to use this option.
Edit: This option allows you to modify the date and time associated with an existing proxy assignment.
Remove: Use this option to remove a proxy user from the instance.
