Transport RBP
This article will help you in using transport module which helps you to transport your data in different instances.
Below are the steps.
Click on the Transport module tile.
Add a new iteration and fill out the form.
Note: Make sure that the workspace you select for transport is already created in RBP and has a generated workbook.
Once the iteration is created, click on the hamburger menu and click on prepare workbook.
Enter the SAP SuccessFactors password, execution notes and select Workbook IntelliSense; then click on confirm and start. This will bring the data into the dropdowns of the Config Tab.
Once prepare is completed, open the workbook and select RBP from the dropdown in column B, select your workbook/iteration from which you need to transport data in column C; select the tab for ex: Group permissions in column D, mention the range of rows in the RBP workbook in column E and set the status to "Pending" in column F.
Close your workbook, back in CodeBot click the hamburger menu and click on prepare workbook, enter the sfsf password, execution notes, check the prepare sheet checkbox and click on confirm and start. This will prepare a new tab and bring down the data.
Once, complete open the workbook and notice the new tab has created and the bot successfully fetched the rows according to the ranges you provided. these records are set to pending by default.
Finally to transport this config, close the workbook; back in CodeBot click the hamburger menu and click on process workbook. This will allow the bot to transport the data.
As the form populates, enter the SFSF password, execution notes and check the process sheet checkbox and click on confirm and start.
By clicking the "i" icon you can track the progress of your execution. Once complete, review the screenshots which shows that where the changes are made in the instance.
Open the workbook and notice that the successfully transported data is highlighted in green and the status is changed to process.
To verify open your SuccessFactors instance, navigate to manage permission roles. Copy and paste any role name from the workbook and you will find the transported data in your instance.
