Time Off – Shift Classification

This article guides users through the process of creating a new Shift Classification in SAP SuccessFactors using CodeBot via the Time Off Workbook.


Prerequisites


  • Access to CodeBot platform
  • Time Off Workbook generated from CodeBot
  • SSO credentials or SAP SuccessFactors password


  1. Open Time Off Workbook


  • Launch the Time Off Workbook provided by CodeBot.
  • Navigate to the Shift Classification tab.

 

  1. Enter Data for Upload


  • Set the Processing Status column to "Pending".
  • Fill in the required data for the new shift classification:
    • Name
    • Classification Code
    • Country
  • Leave the Entity UUID column blank — this will be auto-generated upon successful execution.




  1. Start Configuration in CodeBot


  • Click on the hamburger menu (≡) in the CodeBot interface.
  • Select Start Configuration.


  1. Authentication


  • If SSO is enabled:
    • Check the box for Login with SSO.
  • If not:
    • Enter your SAP SuccessFactors password manually.


  1. Set Execution Options


  • Add Execution Notes.
  • Under Advanced Options, select Shift Classification as the data type for execution.
  • Click confirm & start to begin the process.



  1. Monitor Execution


  • Click the "i" (info) icon to view live execution progress.

  1. Confirm Execution


  • Re-open the Time Off Workbook.
  • Look for green highlights in the rows — this indicates successful processing.
  • The Entity UUID will now be auto-filled.




  1. Validation in SuccessFactors


To verify the newly created shift classification:


  • Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance.
  • Navigate to Manage Data.
  • In the search bar, type Shift Classification.
  • Locate your newly created Classification Code.
