TIH – Attributes

Overview


This guide outlines the step-by-step process for Attributes updates using the pre-generated workbook in the Talent Intelligence Hub module, and automating the changes using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.


  1. Open the Talent Intelligence Hub workbook and navigate to the ''Attributes'' tab.


Populate the required columns as follows:


  • Column B: Enter a new Name
  • Column C: Add an Attribute Type
  • Columns D: Provide Role Type and Description.
  • Column E: Set the Status to Active/Inactive.
  • Column F: Add the External Code.
  • Column G: The ID will be auto generated.
  • Column H: Provide the Description.
  • Columns I & J: The Created Date & Modified Date will be auto generated.



Across the divider,


  • Column L: Enter the Nme/Level.
  • Column M: Add the Attribute Type/Level.
  • Columns N & O: The Level & Level Name will be generated by the system.
  • Column P: Provide the Level Description.


Note: The data in Read Only columns will be auto generated by the system on the successful completion of the execution.



Across the divider,


  • Columns R & S: Select the Processing Attribute Type & Processing Name from the drop down.
  • Columns T: Set the Processing Status to Pending.



  1. Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



  1. If the SSO is implemented, Login using SSO, enter Execution Notes, check the Attributes checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



  1. As the status changes to processing you can track the progress of the execution. To monitor the progress please refer to the article attached below:

  1. Reopen the TIH workbook and navigate to the Attributes tab.


  • Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.



  • The Processing Status column will display as Processed.



  1. Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance:
  • Navigate to: Admin Center → Manage Talent Intelligence Hub → Attribute.
  • Review the list to verify that your updates have been applied correctly.



Expected Outcome


  • The Attribute are successfully updated and activated in the Talent Intelligence Hub.
  • Green highlights in the workbook confirm successful processing.
  • The updated attributes appear in the SAP SuccessFactors instance.


Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
