Adding a Backgroud Element in Succession

CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors allows you to background elements in succession with ease.

What you need to Run configuration?

1. Access to CodeBot and its Succession module
2. Required permissions in codebot to run configuration

Note: Before you run Generate workbook or Configuration using codebot, make sure you have the permissions for "Manage business Configuration" in the SuccessFactors instance.

Steps to configure Background Elements

1. Navigate to the succession module tile on the CodeBot Dashboard.

2. Enter into your workspace and open the fully generated workbook to the Background Elements tab.

3. Add the required data into the columns, at last select the template id from the dropdown in column C that you just added. Set the processing status to pending in column B and close the Workbook.

4. Back in codebot, click the hamburger menu and click on start configuration. As the form appears enter your password if SSO is not enabled; execution notes, check the background elements check box and click confirm and start.

5. As the status changes to processing, you can monitor the progress of the execution. To monitor please refer to the article attached below.

6. Once the status is set to complete, open the workbook and notice that the newly added background element is now highlighted in green and the processing status is changed to **Processed; **which means that the element is successfully created in the instance.
