Robotics - Prepare Workbook

Prepare Workbook for Robotic Testing

Robotic Testing starts by having a completed configuration workbook for the module that you are going to be testing: EC, Recruiting, ONB, Time Off and COMP.

EC, RCM & ONB - Auto Prepare

Within Employee Central, Recruiting & Onboarding add new iteration, there is an option to Auto Prepare Robotics, select that checkbox and it will auto select all elements required for the workbook. Once it has completed, your workbook will appear in your Robotics workspace with the initial Prepare step already completed.

If you are just running a full workbook, you can follow the steps below.

Time Off & Comp (EC, RCM & ONB if not using automated prepare)

Once the workbook is completed and it looks good within the standard module, go to the Robotic Module.

Create a new iteration

Once you enter into your workspace, click on ''add new iteration'' and a form will be populated as shown.

After you submit the form, the iteration gets ready with two sheets. One with Robotic sheet and the other one with connected sheet.

The Robotic sheet needs to be prepared, but the connected sheet contains the data and is not empty as shown below.

Prepare Sheet

  1. The Robotic Sheet is the testing script template-- we need to prepare that sheet (it'll be mostly blank now). The Connected Sheet is the original workbook generated for that module. Note this only needs to be done if you did not use the Auto Prepare when creating the Iteration for EC/RCM/ONB or if you are testing Comp/Time Off
  2. Click on the hamburger menu and select prepare workbook.

nter the required information.

Expect the execution to take between 15-30 minutes.
