# Robotics - ONB - Assign Tasks (Standard) (#4)

||| After completing the Candidate Review step, follow the steps below to assign and execute tasks.  Note that Custom Tasks are not supported. 

### Step 1: Open the Assign Tasks Worksheet
1. Create your new Iteration with Auto Prepare Robotics ([Robotics - Prepare Workbook](https://help.sfcodebot.com/en/article/robotics-prepare-workbook-pe8xq0/))
2. Navigate to the **Assign Tasks** tab.

### Step 2: Configure Task Execution
* **Column D – Task Initiation**
Indicates whether a task needs to be started.
* Select **True** from the dropdown if the task should be initiated.
* Select **False** if the task is not required.
* **Column G – Task Items**
Displays the task items associated with each row.

* **Column H – Execute Task**
Indicates whether the specific task row should be executed.
* Select **True** if the row should be processed.
* Select **False** if it should be skipped.
* **Column I – Task Details**
Enter the required task details for the corresponding task item.

* **Columns K and L – Processing Candidate and Status**
Set the status to **Pending**.

### Step 3: Run Automation
1. Close the workbook after completing all updates
2. Run the **automation** to execute the assigned tasks
