RCM – Status Sets

This Article will help you understand how to add a new Status Set in Recruiting Management using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.

Following are the steps that will guide you to the entire process.


  1. Open the Recruiting Management workbook and navigate to the ''Status Set'' tab.

    Populate the required columns as follows:
  • Column E: enter a new Status Set Name
  • Column F: Provide Status Set Description



  • Column H: enter Status / Status Set Name
  • Columns I & J: add the Status Name & Status Type
  • Column K: provide Status Category
  • Columns N & O: enter Internal Label & Candidate Label
  • Column P: add the Next Step Text
  • Columns Q & R: select either True or False from the drop down as per the requirement


  • Column S: enter the Refer Label
  • Column T: add the Refer Next Step Text
  • Columns V-Z: choose either True or False from the drop down as per the requirement



  • Columns AC – AK: populate the data as shown in the image below.



  • Column AN & Column AQ: select True/False from the dropdown
  • Column AU: enter Agency User Status Label



  • Column C: select the Process Status Set from the drop down
  • Column B: set the Processing Status to pending

    Close the workbook



  1. Go back in code click on the hamburger menu (☰) and select Start Configuration.



  1. Authenticate and Select Options


  • If your instance uses SSO, you will be logged in automatically.
  • If your instance requires an SFSF Password, enter it when prompted.
  • Add execution notes for your reference.
  • Under Advanced Options, ensure Question Library is selected.
  • Click Confirm and Start.



  1. Execution Process

    CodeBot will now process the changes:


  • The execution status will be changed to “Processing”.
  • By clicking on the “i” icon you’ll be able to track the progress of the execution.
  • Wait for the execution to complete.




  1. View Execution Logs


  • Once the process completes:
  • Review the logs to ensure there were no errors.
  • Open the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



  1. Reopen the Recruiting Management workbook and notice that the successfully updated information has been highlighted in green.







  • The Processing Status column will display as Processed.



  1. Verification in SuccessFactors
  • Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance.
  • Navigate to “Edit Applicant Status Configuration”.
  • Confirm the presence of the newly added Status Set.
