CodeBot User Guide for SAP SuccessFactors – Recruiting Sites Automation
Purpose
This guide outlines the steps to automate the process of adding or updating recruiting sites in SAP SuccessFactors using CodeBot, starting from data input in the Recruiting Management workbook to verification in the SuccessFactors instance.
✅ Pre-requisites
- Access to CodeBot.
- Access to the Recruiting Management Workbook.
- SAP SuccessFactors credentials.
- Appropriate permissions to manage recruiting sites in SuccessFactors.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Open the Recruiting Management Workbook
- Locate and open the Recruiting Management Workbook
- Navigate to the “Recruiting Sites” tab.
Step 2: Set Processing Status
- In the “Processing Status” column (Column B), set the value to “Pending” for the row you want to update or add.
Step 3: Add or Update Site Information
- You can update an existing recruiting site or add a new one.
Fill the required columns in the workbook.
Add the Site Name in column C (Thats mandatory), description in Column D, language in Column E, set as default Language in column F, Site Landing Page in Column G, logo URL in column H if needed!
Column I to L, you can add the descriptions in html format.
Column M contains footer. From Column N, ''Job Filter - Location'' to Column Q, you can add different Job Filters.
Column R contains Site Status, and the last column S ''Is Default Site?''
Step 4: Run CodeBot Automation
- Open CodeBot.
- Click the hamburger menu (☰) to open the sidebar.
- Select “Start Configuration”.
- If prompted:
- Enter your SAP SuccessFactors password.
- If SSO is enabled, skip the password and provide execution notes.
- Select the checkbox for “Recruiting Sites”.
- Click “Confirm and Start”.
Step 5: Monitor Execution
- While the bot is running, click the info icon (ℹ️) to monitor progress.
- CodeBot will show live updates and take screenshots of changes made.
- Execution progress and any issues will be shown in the log panel.
Step 6: Review Execution Results
- After execution completes, open the Recruiting Management workbook.
- Locate the previously edited row(s).
- Look for green-highlighted cells, which indicate successful updates.
Step 7: Verify in SuccessFactors
- Log in to your SAP SuccessFactors instance.
- Navigate to:
- Admin Center → Manage Recruiting Sites.
- Locate the newly added or updated site by searching for the Site Name you used.
- Open the site to verify that all fields match the data entered in the workbook
