# RCM - Question Library

**How to Add a New Question to an Existing Question Library Using CodeBot**

**Overview**

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to add a new question to an existing question library using **CodeBot** for SAP SuccessFactors.

**Prerequisites**

* Access to the **Recruiting Management Workbook**
* Valid credentials for your **SSO-enabled CodeBot instance**
* Permissions to update question libraries in **SAP SuccessFactors**

**Steps to Add a New Question**

**1. Open the Recruiting Management Workbook**

**2. Navigate to the *Question Library* Tab**

* Locate the **Question Library** tab within the workbook.
* Set the **Processing Status** to Pending for the row where you will add the new question.

**3. Enter the New Question Details**

In the same row:

* **Column C**: Specify the target **Library**.
* **Column D**: Enter the **New Question** text.
* Continue filling in the relevant fields such as Question description, Category, Question type and other columns if required.

**4. Launch CodeBot and Configure Execution**

* Open **CodeBot**.
* Click on the **hamburger menu** (☰) and select **Start Configuration**.

**5. Authenticate and Select Options**

* If your instance uses **SSO**, you will be logged in automatically.
* If your instance requires an **SFSF Password**, enter it when prompted.
* Add **execution notes** for your reference.
* Under **Advanced Options**, ensure **Question Library** is selected.
* Click **Confirm and Start**.

**6. Execution Process**

CodeBot will now process the changes:

* The execution status will update in real-time.
* Wait for the execution to complete.

**7. View Execution Logs**

Once the process completes:

* Review the **logs** to ensure there were no errors.
* The **Processing Status** in the workbook will change to Complete.

**8. Verify Changes in Workbook**

* Reopen the Recruiting Management Workbook.
* You will notice **green highlights** indicating that the new question was successfully added.

**9. Final Verification in SuccessFactors**

* Log in to your **SAP SuccessFactors** instance.
* Navigate to **Question Libraries**.
* Locate the library where you added the question.
* Confirm the presence of the newly added question.
