RCM - Candidate Profile

Overview


The Candidate Profile tab within the Recruiting Workbook is designed to facilitate updates to the profiles of existing candidates. This tab is organized into specific sections, each corresponding to different fields that can be modified using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.
CodeBot simplifies and automates updates to the Candidate Profile within SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management. This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of updating candidate profile fields using the Recruiting Management Workbook and executing automation through CodeBot.


Section 1: Preparing the Workbook


Step 1: Open the Recruiting Workbook

  • Locate and open the Recruiting Management Workbook.
  • Go to the Candidate Profile tab.


Step 2: Set Processing Status

  • In the Candidate Profile tab:
  • Set the Processing Status to Pending.


Step 3: Select a Processing Template

  • From the Processing Template dropdown:
  • Select the appropriate template for the candidate profile update.
  • Add the template name after the divider in the column.


Step 4: Update Candidate Profile Fields

  • Populate the necessary columns based on the fields to be updated.
  • Permissions: Indicate read/write access or picklist options (TRUE or FALSE).
  • Update only the fields needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with field rules and dependencies.



Section 2: Running CodeBot Automation


Step 1: Launch CodeBot

  • Open CodeBot.
  • Click on the hamburger menu (☰)
  • Select Start Configuration.


Step 2: Authenticate

  • If SSO is enabled, Only enter Execution Notes.
  • If SSO is not enabled, enter your SAP SuccessFactors (SFSF) password.


Step 3: Configure Execution Options

  • Under Advanced Options, check, Candidate Profile.


Step 4: Start the Automation

  • Click Confirm and Start.


Section 3: Monitoring the Execution


Step 1: Monitor Progress

  • Click on the ‘i’ icon to track execution status.
  • Screenshots are captured during the execution for review.


Step 2: Review Execution Outcome

  • Once execution is complete, open the Recruiting Workbook.
  • Notice the green highlighted fields — these indicate successful updates


Section 4: Verifying Changes in SAP SuccessFactors


Step 1: Navigate in SAP SuccessFactors

  1. Go to Manage Templates.
  2. Select Recruiting Management.
  3. Click on Candidate Profile.
  4. Open the template you updated.


Step 2: Verify Updated Fields

  • On the left panel, under General Settings:
  • Click on the specific field(s) that were updated.
    Confirm that all changes (values, permissions, visibility, etc.) are correctly applied.
