ONB - How to add a new onboarding program for the salaried population using CodeBot

Onboarding refers to the processes by which new hires are integrated into the organization. SuccessFactors Onboarding provides an exceptional, enhanced set of onboarding activities in an organization to manage new hires from the start.

This article will help you to get knowledge on how to add a new onboarding program for the salaried population.

Below are the mentioned easy steps for your guide.

Login to CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.




You can either navigate to the onboarding module under the talent and learning dropdown or click on the module tile on the homepage.



Enter your workspace as shown below. Open the workbook to the ONB programs tab.



Fill the columns with the required data. Start with column B, Program ID, then in column C, put the new program name that you want to add. Continue till O or depends on the data you want to add.



In column V, select the category name from the dropdown and set the status to pending in Column W.





Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu, and select start configuration.



Enter the Successfactors password, execution notes and check onboarding programs from the advanced options and click on confirm and start.



Click on the "i" icon to see the progress. The status is now changed to processing.



Refresh the logs to get the updated information. Once the execution completes, screenshots are available of the changes that we made.





Status will be changed to complete after the execution is done. Open the O365 workbook and notice that the new data is now highlighted in green.





Lastly, in the SuccessFactors instance under manage Onboarding and Offboarding tasks, then onboarding programs, notice that the new ONB program has been added successfully.
