ONB - Data Mapping

This guide will walk you through the process of updating Data Mapping in Onboarding 2.0 module using Codebot for SAP SuccessFactors.


  1. Open your SuccessFactors instance and navigate to the Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping section.


  • From the left panel under Employee Central HRIS Elements, select emailInfo.
  • You'll notice that the Recruiting Template and Recruiting Field columns are currently empty.
  • These fields will be automatically populated using CodeBot, streamlining the data mapping process.


  1. Open the Onboarding 2.0 Workbook and navigate to the Data Mapping tab.


  • Set the Processing Status to pending in Column B.
  • Let’s update the Recruiting Template and Recruiting Fields for the Object ID “emailInfo”.
  • Close the workbook.


  1. Back in Codebot click on the hamburger menu (☰) and select Start Configuration.



  1. If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Data Mapping checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.


  1. Monitor Progress of the Execution

  1. Reopen the Onboarding 2.0 workbook.


  • The Processing Status will display as Processed.
  • Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.



  1. To verify the update, reopen your SuccessFactors instance and navigate to the Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping section.


  • You’ll see that the Recruiting Template and Recruiting Field columns have been successfully populated, using CodeBot.
