# ONB - Data Collect Config

This article guides users through the process of adding/updating Data collect Config in **SAP SuccessFactors** using **CodeBot**.
### ✅ **Prerequisites**
* Access to **SAP SuccessFactors** with administrative rights.
* Access to **CodeBot**.
* Onboarding 2.0 Workbook available for editing.
* SSO access or valid SAP SuccessFactors credentials.

### 📝 **Steps to Update Configuration**
#### 1. **Prepare the Onboarding 2.0 Workbook**
* Open the Onboarding 2.0 Workbook.
* Navigate to the Data Collect Config Tab.
* Provide the data in the following columns.
| Column | Entry |
| ---- |
| **B** | Set **Processing Status** to `Pending` |
| **E** | Enter the **Object ID or Configuration Name** |
| **F** | Specify the **List of Items Configurations** or **UI Items Configurations** |

* Once the information is filled in, **close** the workbook.

#### 2. **Launch Automation in CodeBot**
* Bac in **CodeBot**.
* Click on the **hamburger menu (☰)**.
* Select **“Start Configuration”** from the options.

#### 3. **Authenticate and Configure Execution**
* If **SSO is enabled**:
    * Enter **execution notes**
    * Check the box for Data collect config.
    * Click **Confirm and Start**.
* If **SSO is NOT enabled**:
    * Enter your **SAP SuccessFactors password**, and repeat the process as above.
#### 4. **Monitor Progress**

#### 5. **Validate the Updates**
* Once the automation is complete:
    * Reopen the workbook.
    * Look for **green-highlighted rows**—these indicate **successful updates**.

#### 6. **Verify in SAP SuccessFactors**
* Go to **Admin Center** → **Manage Data**.
* Search for **Onboarding Data Collection Configuration**.
* Locate and confirm the newly created or modified data collection configuration.
