ONB 2.0 - Process Variant
This guide will help you to create and update Process Variant in Onboarding 2.0 module using Codebot.
To begin updating Process Variant, log into your CodeBot dashboard. Locate and click on the Onboarding 2.0 module tile.

Then, enter into your workspace.

Open your Onboarding 2.0 workbook and navigate to the Process Variant tab.
Populate the required columns as follows:
Column B: Enter a unique Process ID.
Column C: Add a Process Variant Name.
Column D: Provide a Description.
Columns E: Set the Variant status to either Active or Inactive as per the requirement.
Column F: Enter the Process Type.

Across the divider,
Column H: Select the Flow Process ID from the dropdown.
Column I: Enter the step ID.
Column J: Input the Step Lane.
Column K: Add the Flow Step.
Column L: Provide the Flow Step Description.
Column M: Enter the Parent ID.

Finally,
Column O: Select the Processing Process ID from the dropdown.
Column P: Set the Processing Status to pending.
Close the workbook.

Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.

If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Process Variant checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.

Execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.

Refresh the logs to view updated information.

Once Complete, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.

Reopen the Onboarding 2.0 workbook. Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.


The Processing Status column will display as Processed.

Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to the Process Variant Manager. Notice that the new Process ID has been successfully created and updated in the instance via CodeBot.
