ONB 2.0 - Permission Groups

This guide will help you to create and update Permission Groups in Onboarding 2.0 module using Codebot.

To begin updating Permission Groups, log into your CodeBot dashboard. Locate and click on the Onboarding 2.0 module tile.



Then, enter into your workspace.



Open your Onboarding 2.0 workbook and navigate to the Permission Groups tab.

Populate the required columns as follows:

Column B: Enter the Group Name.
Column C: Select the DG Pool form the dropdown as per the requirement.
Column D: Add the Field Label.
Column E: Enter the Expression Value.



Across the divider,

Column G: Select the Processing Group Name from the drop down.
Column H: Set the Processing Status to Pending.

Close the Workbook.



Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Permission Groups checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



Execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.



Refresh the logs to view updated information.



Once the execution is Complete, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



Reopen the Onboarding 2.0 workbook. Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.



The Processing Status column will display as Processed.



Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Manage Onboarding Dynamic Groups. Notice that the New Permission Group has been successfully created and updated in the instance via CodeBot.
