Integration Dependency in CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors – Cloud Integration Platform & Employee Central

Overview:

This article provides a comprehensive guide on how CodeBot simplifies the integration mapping process between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and the SAP BTP – Cloud Integration Platform.

CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors can now scan both your Employee Central workbook and the BTP - Cloud Integration Platform to automatically generate an integrations workbook with mappings.

Key Notes:

The Integration Dependency feature only works during the Prepare and Validation phases.

Integration Dependency Process in CodeBot - How it works?

Step 1: Create a New Iteration

Log into CodeBot.
Navigate to integration dependency module tile.
Click on add new iteration
Fill out the form as shown;









Step 2: Run Prepare
Click the hamburger menu (☰) and select "Prepare Sheet".
If SSO is disabled, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password.
Click Confirm and Start.
After execution is completed;
o Open the workbook.
o Navigate to the INT Artifacts tab.
o Artifacts from the Cloud Integration Platform will be listed.



o Set the Status to "Pending" for the integrations you wish to pull field-level data for.



o Close the workbook.

Step 3: Start Validation
Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu again and select "Start Validation".
Provide your SAP SuccessFactors password (if SSO is disabled).
Click Confirm and Start.

Step 4: Review the Integration Fields
Once validation completes, open the workbook.
Go to the INT Fields Detail tab.
This tab now includes detailed field-level mappings for the selected integrations.






Step 5: Cross-reference with Employee Central Workbook

Open the connected Employee Central workbook.
Notice the yellow-highlighted fields
These indicate fields used in the fetched integrations.
Review the attached notes:
These notes provide additional context, including field-level mappings and integration references.
