Impact Analysis PM/GM
CodeBot now supports Impact Analysis PM/GM. This article will walk you through the process of generating the Impact Analysis PM/GM workbook.
- On the dashboard, click on Impact Analysis, then select Impact Analysis PM/GM.
- Navigate to your workspace and click on add new iteration.
- Enter the iteration number, workspace name, workspace iteration, and description, then click Submit.
- Once the iteration is successfully added, navigate to the action bar, click the hamburger menu, and select Generate Workbook.
- First Run – **Prepare the sheet by checking the **Prepare Sheet check box, then, select Confirm and Start to generate required sheets and prepare data for comparison.
- Monitor the execution by clicking on the **i icon **and wait until the status shows Complete.
- Once complete, open the workbook and verify that the PM/GM data has been pulled successfully. From the Source Templates column dropdown, select the template to be used as the baseline. Then, in the Compare To column, choose the template you want to compare against the selected source template.
- Back in CodeBot select Generate Workbook again from the hamburger menu.
- Select PM templates from the advance options and Click Confirm and Start to begin the process.
- Once the process is completed, open the workbook and navigate to the PM Template, PM Permissions tabs in the workbook. Here, you can review the template comparison results:
● Green indicates the templates are successfully matched.
● Red indicates that the templates do not match.
- For any entries highlighted in red, hover over the field to view the tooltip, which provides validation details explaining the differences.
Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
