Impact Analysis Picklist

The Impact Analysis Picklist module works by selecting the source iteration data as the baseline and comparing it with Destination1 and Destination 2 iterations. The system analyzes differences in picklist values and configurations across the iterations and then generates comparison results in a sheet, clearly highlighting the impact of changes for easy review and validation.


Login to CodeBot and open the Impact Analysis Picklist module from the dashboard.


Enter the workspace, click Add New Iteration,


Fill in the required details and click Submit.



Once the new iteration is created, Click the hamburger menu from the action bar and Select Generate Analysis.



Login using SSO if its implemented, add execution notes, select MDF Picklist Dependencies, and click Confirm and Start to begin the process.




Monitor the execution by clicking on the i icon and wait until the status shows Complete.



Open the workbook and verify that the picklist data is pulled successfully.



Close the workbook. Go back in Codebot. and select Generate Analysis again. Select the Source Iteration, Destination Iteration 1 and 2, add notes, select Picklist Summary Report, and click Confirm and Start.


Select the Source Iteration, Destination Iteration 1 and 2, add execution notes, select Picklist Summary Report, and click Confirm and Start.


Monitor the progress of the execution by clicking on the (i) icon, once the execution is complete, then open the workbook and Review the Summary Report to compare picklist values and configurations and to verify that the data has been successfully pulled down by the bot.
