Field Display Format

This article will help you automating Field Display Format in Employee Profile using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.


  1. On the CodeBot dashboard click on the employee profile module tile.



  1. Enter into your workspace and open the workbook.



  1. Open the workbook and navigate to the Field Display Format Tab. Here, Set the status to pending in column B and select the newly added Field Display Format ID from the dropdown in column C. Enter the Field Display Format ID in column E, set enable to either yes or no in column F, and fill out the relevant data in column H, I and J.



  1. Close the workbook, back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and click on start configuration.



  1. As the form populates, enter the SFSF Password, execution notes, check the Field Display Format checkbox and click on confirm and start.



  1. As the status changes to processing, you can monitor the progress of the execution. To monitor the execution, please refer to the article below.

  1. As the status is set to complete open the workbook and notice that the changes you made are now highlighted in green which means that the data is successfully pushed into the instance.



  1. To verify, open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to the Manage Business Configuration screen. Next, click on Employee Profile and then, click on Field Display Format. Open the Field display ID you just created. Notice that the data has been successfuly updated in the instance using CodeBot.
