# EC Benefits - Benefits Overview Hyperlink

# **Updating Benefits Overview Hyperlink for EC Benefits in SAP SuccessFactors Using CodeBot**

## **Overview**
This article outlines the step-by-step procedure for updating **Benefits Overview Hyperlinks** for **Employee Central (EC) Benefits** within **SAP SuccessFactors** using **CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors**.
The process includes preparing the workbook, initiating the configuration via CodeBot, and validating the changes in the SuccessFactors instance.

## **1. Open the EC Benefits Generated Workbook**

1. **Open EC Benefits → Benefits Overview Hyperlink tab** in the workbook.
2. Populate the required columns:

* **Column B – Processing Status:**
Set to **Pending** for all rows that need to be updated.
* **Column C – Processing Hyperlink Config ID:**
Provide the specific **Hyperlink Config ID** to be processed.
* **Column F – Hyperlink Config Name:**
Enter the **name** of the configuration.
* **Column I – URL:**
Input the **target URL** for the hyperlink.
* **Column J – Label:**
Provide the **label text** to be displayed.
* **Column K – Hyperlink Eligibility Rule:**
Define the **eligibility rule** applicable to the hyperlink.

3. After completing the data entry, **save and close** the workbook.

## **2. Executing the Configuration in CodeBot**

1. Return to **CodeBot**.
2. Click the **hamburger menu** and select **Start Configuration**.
3. Authentication:
    * If your SuccessFactors instance is **SSO-enabled**, check the **SSO checkbox**.
    * Otherwise, enter the **SFSF password**.
4. Add relevant **execution notes** for documentation.
5. Under **Advanced Options**:
    * Select **Benefits Overview Hyperlink**.
    * Choose the **Optimized Version**.
6. Click **Confirm and Start** to begin processing.

## **3. Reviewing Execution Results**

* Once execution is complete, CodeBot provides:
    * **Execution summary**
    * **Screenshots** of the applied changes

* Open the workbook again:
* Successful updates will be **highlighted in green**.

## **4. Validating Changes in SuccessFactors**
1. Log in to your **SAP SuccessFactors** instance.
2. Navigate to:
**Benefits Admin Overview → Benefits Overview Hyperlink**
3. In the search bar, enter the **newly created Hyperlink ID**.
4. Verify that the record has been successfully created and matches the data entered in the workbook.
