Config UI – Object Details

This guide will help you to create and update Object Details in Configuration UI module using Codebot.

To begin updating Object Details, log into your CodeBot dashboard. Locate and click on the Configuration UI module tile.



Then, enter into your workspace.



Open your Configuration UI workbook and navigate to the Object Details tab.

Populate the required columns as follows:

Column B: Enter a unique Object ID.

Column C: Add a Base Object.

Column D: Set the Header Style to either Dark or Light.

Columns E & F: Select either Yes or No from the dropdown as per the requirement.

Column G: Add the Title Type.

Column H: Enter the Title Type Value.



Across the divider,

Column M: Select the Processing Object ID from the dropdown.

Column N: Set the Processing Status to pending.

Close the workbook.



Back in CodeBot, click on the hamburger menu and select Start Configuration.



If the SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the Object Details checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



Execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.



Refresh the logs to view updated information.



Once Complete, review the screenshots to see where the changes have been made in the instance.



Reopen the Config UI workbook. Successfully updated information will be highlighted in green.



The Processing Status column will display as Processed.



Open your SAP SuccessFactors instance and navigate to Manage Configuration UI and Search for the Object ID you just created.

Notice that the data has been successfully updated in the instance via CodeBot.
