Audit Capture
Audit can be time consuming if you do it manually, Codebot has now introduced Audit Capture module, what exists in Employee Central is now easy to Audit using CodeBot for SAP SuccessFactors.
This Article will help you in using the Audit capture module
- Login to CodeBot. On the Dashboard, under the Module Access Panel click on Audit & then locate & click on the Audit Capture module.
- Enter into your workspace and click on Add New Iteration.
- Select your company instance from the dropdown and all of the related information related to the instance will auto populate, enter the iteration number, select your workspace from the dropdown; write some description and submit the form.
- Once the iteration is created. Click on the hamburger menu and select Generate Workbook. Generating the workbook first will prepare the sheet and populate the dropdown options in Column D.
- On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Prepare Sheet EC checkbox and click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.
- As the status changes to processing you can track the progress of the execution. To monitor the progress please refer to the article attached below:
- Once the execution is complete. Open the workbook to the Audit Capture EC tab. Set the status to pending in column B. Select the Screen Title from the dropdown in column C that you want to capture audit for, in column D select the Object ID / External Code / Rule ID from the dropdown.
- Close the workbook.
- Back in CodeBot, click the hamburger menu and click on Start Configuration.
- On the left-hand side, enter your SAP SuccessFactors password or sign in using SSO (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the Execution Notes. On the right-hand side, under Advanced Options, select the Audit Capture EC checkbox and click Confirm and Start to begin the execution.
- As the status changes to processing you can track the progress of the execution. To monitor the progress please refer to the article attached below:
- Once the iteration is complete, download the attachment from the logs.
Note: This attachment is a PDF file.
- Open the PDF documents and notice that the Audit of the selected EC areas has been generated successfully with the name and the time stamp.
Note: If anything doesn’t appear as expected, check CodeBot execution logs and send us the Tracking Request ID via the chat box in the lower right-hand corner.
