# Attendance Request

The following article will help explain how you can add or update an **Attendance Request** through SFCodeBot.

1. Navigate to **CodeBot** for SAP **SuccessFactors**, and enter your login details.

2. On the Home screen, click on the Time Track module.

3. Select your workspace from the next screen.

4. Navigate to the generated workbook by clicking the **Sheet** icon..

5. The workbook will appear in a new tab on your browser. Select the **Attendance Request** worksheet.

6. **Attendance Request:**
* Column A: Enter a unique Item ID to identify the record.
* Column B: Set the Processing Status to reflect the current processing state.
* Column C: Enter the External Code for the record.
* Column D: Enter the Cost Center associated with the request.
* Column E: Enter the Start Date of the attendance request.
* Column F: Enter the Start Time of the attendance request.
* Column G: Enter the End Time of the attendance request.
* Column H: Specify the Number of Hours for the request.
* Column I: Specify the Hours and Minutes breakdown.
* Column J: Enter the Time Type (e.g., WorkOffice, Home\_Office).
* Column K–P: Read-only, auto-generated (User, Approval Status, Time Sheet, etc.)

7. Close the workbook and return to SFCodeBot, then click the hamburger icon under the Actions tab for the same iteration number, and select **Start Configuration**.

8. On the **left-hand side**, enter your **SAP SuccessFactors** password or sign in using **SSO** (if it is configured for your instance). Next, enter the **Execution Notes**. On the **right-hand side**, under **Advanced Options**, select the **Attendance Request** checkbox and choose the desired execution mode (**Standard** or **Optimized (Beta)**). Finally, click **Confirm and Start** to begin the execution.

9. As the status changes to processing you can monitor the execution. Below is the article attached for iteration monitoring.

10. Once the status shows complete, go back in the workbook, and observe that these **Attendance Request** have been added successfully as the rows and their corresponding fields are now highlighted green. Meanwhile, the processing status have also turned to processed.

11. You can also verify these changes by navigating to *Manage Data → Attendance Request* and reviewing the record we just created.
