# Adhoc Report - Migration

This Article will help you understand the migration process for Adhoc Reports (**Note: CodeBot only supports the migration of story type reports)**.

1. Login to your CodeBot account.

2. On the dashboard click on the Migration module, this will take you to the workspace window.

3. Click on add new iteration, fill out the iteration form.

* Select your instance **(Source Instance)** from the company instance dropdown, company ID, host address and IAS host address will be auto populated.
* Add iteration number
* Select your workspace from the dropdown where you want your iteration to be
* From the dropdown for Migration of; select Adhoc Report
* Enter the Company ID
* Enter the SFSF Username
* Enter the description
* Click on Submit

4. Once the iteration is created, click on the workspace where you created the iteration.
5. As you see the new iteration, click on the hamburger menu, under actions and select ''generate workbook''
6. Here, check the ''Story Reports'' check box, if SSO is not enabled enter your SFSF password. If SSO is enabled, check the Login with SSO checkbox. 
7. Enter the execution notes and click on Confirm and Start.

9. Once the status is set to complete, open the workbook and notice that the reports from the source instance are populated in column B.
10. To migrate, in column C, type in the new name for the report or if you wish to migrate with the same name just set the status to pending in column D.

11. Close the workbook, back in CodeBot; click the hamburger menu and click on ''Start Configuration''. As the form populates, enter the credentials for your target instance in the **Destination Fields.** Check the Story Reports checkbox under the advance options, and click on Confirm and Start.

12. As the status changes to processing, click on the "i" (info icon) to track the progress of your execution. Below is the article attached.

13. Once your execution status sets to complete, open the workbook and notice that the changes are highlighted in green. To verify, login to your destination instance and navigate to View Adhoc Reports, select the type as story and validate your changes/migration
