AD HOC REPORTS

This step by step guide will help you in generating workbook for Ad Hoc Reports using Codebot.

To begin, log into CodeBot and on the dashboard locate and click on the Ad Hoc Report module tile.



Then click on Add New Iteration.



To create a new iteration, add the Iteration Number, Workspace Name, Host Address, IAS Host Address and Instance Type. Enter the Company ID, SF Username, and Description. Finally, click on Confirm and Start.

Note: The S - User ID is required for the provisioning instances only.



A new iteration is created successfully.



The sheet is empty right now. But it will eventually populated once the data is pulled from the instance.



Back in codebot, click on the hamburger menu and select Generate Workbook.

Note: The Ad Hoc Reports module in Codebot supports generating workbook only (reverse).



If SSO is implemented, log in using SSO. Enter Execution Notes, check the select all checkbox, and click on Confirm and Start to begin the process.



Execution is processing. Click the “i” icon to track the progress.



Refresh the logs to view updated information.



Once the execution is complete, open the workbook.



Open your SuccessFactors instance. The data from the highlighted tabs will be pulled down in the Ad Hoc Workbook in different sections and sub sections.



Workbook is generated. The data has been successfully pulled down form the instance.

• This is the General Information section.

Note: Codebot only supports the ‘Table’ Type Reports.



• Following is the data from People & Columns tabs.





• The Data pulled down from Configuration & Filters tab is as follows.
